Hello Daniel, I hope things are going well for you, thanks for making some time for a chat.

It's now just over 30 years since your early, influential releases on Lucky Spin and Dee Jay Recordings. You just recently had some records come out on prominent labels such as Deep Jungle and Over/Shadow. Who were some of the early artists that inspired you to start producing Jungle? Do you have any reflective thoughts or regrets looking back over the years since your first Jungle releases?

You have a few sample packs out already, including one that you collaborated on with Dom & Roland that is all drum samples. At the end of September you have a new sample pack coming out on Stranjah's, Deviant Audio, titled "Fragments". This is a hefty sample pack which reveals a good bit of content that you would normally keep to yourself. The assortment of sounds and possibilities this pack offers is superb. Can you give readers a little insight on what they can expect from the new sound collection?

While you still have new records coming out and have been releasing music for so long, would you say that your recent work creating sample packs is just a natural next step for you in your music career? Can we expect more sample packs from you in the future or maybe even some paid one to one coaching?

There are plenty of younger artists making Jungle music these days and many of them are very resourceful with sample packs, plugins, etc. What would be a few important lessons from your long history that you would share when it comes to making music, signing music to a label or anything else that you think could help them achieve their desired objectives?

With so many years of experience and knowing how to navigate your way to a finished song, do you still have any struggles when it comes to making new music?

What things do you think could be taken from the early Jungle era, that the modern day Jungle community could benefit from?

Time moves fast, what other hobbies or interests keep you busy when you aren't working on music?

Do you have any other upcoming projects that you would like to share information on?

Any closing thoughts or shout outs?
